South Mountain Reservation Hike: Sunday, November 20 at noon

Hello Pack 19 families,

Our first hike of the year is scheduled for Sunday, November 20, 2011 at noon in the South Mountain Reservation.  We’ll meet on Cherry Lane near the Boy Scout Area (see image to right).  To get there, take South Orange Avenue towards Livingston, turn right on Brookside Drive and then a quick right on Cherry Lane.  There will be a parking lot on your right.

We will be walking the Turtle Back trail, a 2.5 mile trail which gets to close to 600′ elevation.

Please wear comfortable hiking boots or sneakers and wear weather appropriate clothing.  Bring a bag lunch for the trip.
